John A. Eckweiler is a tax partner at Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Management Consultants. John oversees the preparation and review of tax filings out of the
Orange County
office as well as maintaining a core of accounting and consulting clients.
Experience
John’s career began in taxation and accounting after his graduation from college in 1986. In addition to possessing strong technical expertise, he has consulting experience in a variety of areas, including tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, research, and compliance services. John works with a number of industries including distribution, manufacturing, professional services, real estate development, automotive dealerships, and high net worth individuals. He also has an extensive background in dealing with government tax auditors at all levels.
Before joining SLGG in 1990, John’s experience included working for four years with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent. He has successfully represented clients before several Federal, State, and Local taxing authorities. In addition, he has extensive experience with corporate, individual, non-profit and partnership tax entities.

Long Beach,
in 1986. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of
California.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
