Jim Pitrat is a Partner at Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Management Consultants, where he works in the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Department and the Securities Industry Practice Group. Jim is responsible for emerging growth companies, publicly held companies as well as established Middle Market companies.
Experience
Jim has over seven years of experience providing financial services to companies in numerous industries, including entertainment and media, telecommunications, technology, software, manufacturing and distribution. In addition, he has significant experience with publicly traded companies, and their filing and registration requirements including the provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). He also has consulting experience in a variety of areas including, systems consulting, cost management, and corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions.
Jim has been a Chief Financial Officer where he gained experience with inventory management, internal and external reporting, strategic planning, product line management, and formulating financial and capital structure decisions.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the
University
of
Arizona
in 1993. He earned his Master of Business Administration in 1997. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996.
Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Los Angeles Venture Association, the Software Council of Southern California and the Association for Capital Growth.

Jim has served as a guest instructor at California Institute of Technology’s Entrepreneur Program and is a guest speaker at the

EC2 Technology Incubator Roundtable. He was an instructor at the Pima Community College Small Business Incubator Program and the

where he taught courses in accounting and finance for entrepreneurs.
