Experience
Lewis joined the Assurance and Advisory department of SLGG in 1989 and has been a partner since 1993. He began his career in the audit department of Price Waterhouse in 1982 in London and was transferred to Price Waterhouse’s Los Angeles office in 1986. Lewis is an audit specialist and to date has conducted more than 1,000 audits for over 150 clients. Lewis conducts various types of audits, including audits of non profit organizations, audits of public companies, audits conducted in accordance with Governmental Auditing Standards and the requirements of circulars promulgated by the Office of Management and Budget and pension plan audits conducted in compliance with ERISA. Lewis directs the firm’s Nonprofit Services Practice Group.

Education & Affiliations
Lewis graduated with honors from the University of Manchester, England with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales . Lewis is a past member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, during which time he was a nationally renowned expert on valuing stock options .
