Marc I. Abrams is a partner at Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Management Consultants. Marc directs the firm’s SEC Practice Group.
Experience
Marc has more than 30 years’ public accounting experience and has worked with a variety of entrepreneurs and public companies, raising over $100 million in offerings. He has extensive experience with a number of industries including retail, high technology, medical, wholesale/distribution, environmental, real estate, manufacturing and hotel/casinos. His expertise includes audits of publicly held companies, initial public offerings, private offerings, corporate reorganizations and acquisitions, evaluating business plans, litigation support and other various financing transactions. Marc has also served as an expert witness and has provided financial expertise in a number of cases.
Prior to joining SLGG, Marc was a founding partner in the accounting firm of Shillan Abrams & Company, where he specialized in Middle Market public companies. That firm was recognized as one of the top firms nationally in acquisition of SEC clients and for carving a niche in audits of publicly held companies. Marc merged his practice with Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP in January 1995.

where he instructed a course in “Financial Statement Analysis” in the Graduate School of Accounting.

Marc graduated from the
American
University
in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He is currently an active member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Los Angeles Venture Association.

Marc has authored various articles which have appeared in publications such as the

and Orange County Business Journals, The Daily Deal and Main Street Business & Venture. Marc has recently been a speaker at the Capital Roundtable Reverse Merger Summit and appeared on the panel at the Reverse Merger & SPAC Summit in New York.
