Thomas E. Wendler is a partner at Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Management Consultants. Experience As the partner in charge of the Orange County Tax Department, Tom oversees the preparation and review of all tax filings handled by the Orange County office. In addition, he manages several accounting clients. Tom has worked as a certified public accountant since 1986. He provides services such as accounting, tax, and tax planning to a client base consisting of construction, real estate development, fast food franchisees, manufacturing, professional services, distribution, and high net-worth individuals. His experience also includes merger and acquisition projects involving tax structuring and purchase price negotiation. Education & Affiliations He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Southern California in 1984. In 1985, he passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountants examination. In 1988, he received his Masters of Taxation from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Tom served on the Board of Directors of the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House from 1992 to 1999. He was Treasurer from 1992 to 1997. During 1994 and 1995, he served on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Children’s Cancer Services (SCCCS). He also served on the finance committee of the SCCCS from 1993 to 1999. In addition, Tom served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County USC Marshall Business Alumni Association from 1991 to 2001. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the USC Accounting Circle. Speaking Engagements As part of the firm’s in-house training program, Tom has conducted numerous seminars on accounting and tax subjects. Tom has also spoken to various organizations on a variety of tax related topics. Publications Tom has had several articles on taxation published in The Orange County Register, The North County News and the California Business magazine.
