Los Angeles , CA -- Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of three new partners, Andrew L. Gantman, Jeff Holt, and Elberta Yee, effective November 2006.  Jeff and Elberta will continue their work with the audit and accounting practice and Andrew will continue his work in the tax department. All three practice in the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters.

Andrew L. Gantman, CPA, MBA, MBT
Andrew has over eighteen years of experience serving mid to large-size clients in a broad variety of industries, including: manufacturing/distribution, software, communications, entertainment, and construction. In addition to assisting clients in their day-to-day advisory and tax compliance needs, Andrew works closely with companies (both public and private) to reduce their tax obligations. He assists business clients with governmental audits of their tax filings and working closely with the examining agents to complete their audits. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California , Los Angeles , a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University , and a Masters of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California . Professionally, Andrew has spent over a decade working for two of the Big 4 accounting firms, 1½ years of which were in the Washington D.C. National Office. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jeff Holt, CPA, MBA
Over the last six years, Jeff has been an audit engagement manager, specializing in public sector audits, for governmental and nonprofit organizations, including audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133. He has practiced public accounting for over nine years, working in government and for a Fortune 500 company before entering the public accounting field. Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Business from the University of California , Los Angeles . He earned his Masters of Business Administration at California State University , Dominguez Hills. He has been a CPA since 1999. Jeff has taught nonprofit accounting classes for UCLA Extension in Los Angeles , California . He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Elberta Yee, CPA
Elberta has more than ten years of experience in public accounting.  Her practice involves work with public and private companies within the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Group, and the Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail Group.  Her industry focus involves work in a variety of industries: apparel and online retail, high technology, biotechnology, software, wholesale/distribution and restaurant. She has transactional experience in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. Elberta obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California . She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
